À méditer cette semaine

“Je me crois en enfer, donc j'y suis.” Arthur Rimbaud

"I believe I'm in hell, therefore I am."

La Chanson à savourer

Le Poème de la semaine

Paul Verlaine – Il pleure dans mon cœur

This poem will follow you like soft rain on a quiet afternoon. Its musicality, its restrained sadness, so delicate and yet so deep, never fails to move me. It captures that strange melancholy that descends without cause, when our hearts seem to cry without reason.

Claude Monet (1840/1926) – Morning on the Seine in the Rain, 1897 - 1898

Tip: Listen first, then read. Then listen again. Repetition isn’t just good for memory, it brings rhythm, pronunciation, and emotion alive.
Let yourself feel the French as much as you study it.
